Ready to Rebuild Your Life?

March 21, 2015 By ssherayko Leave a Comment

I’m ready to help. After taking the past couple months to complete the 30-Day Podcast Challenge, the podcast is official! The series is live – and the first 3 episodes are available through iTunes and Stitcher. The series is all about helping you rebuild your life, whatever your personal disaster may be. I describe it in the One Sheet that tells people about the show, especially publicists and potential guests. Our Home and Family publicist read it for me and gave it his blessing – thank you, Alfred – so I’d like to share it here so you’ll get a better idea of what it’s all about.

“REBUILDING YOUR LIFE: MOVING FROM DISASTER TO PROSPERITY” with Susan Sherayko is a podcast where we help you transform your life by changing what you’re telling yourself. We engage in discussion with those who have experienced a disaster, as well as those who help us come through the experience. We look at what they did to heal, rebuild, and where they are now.

REBUILDING YOUR LIFE… will share stories with you, bring in experts in contemporary brain research and various kinds of positive self-talk, and provide action steps that can help you discover the truth of this information over the course of this series.

Natural disasters such as fire, flood, earthquake and landslides; financial disasters where we lose everything; lost relationships; bad marriages and business failures — What they all seem to have in common is that disasters come suddenly, unexpectedly and beyond your control. The effect is devastating, affecting every aspect of your life – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. In a flash, you lose all that you have created – or accumulated – around you. Your sense of security vanishes and for a period of time you are in shock, only to experience fear and a sense of powerlessness when the shock wears off.

However, we have the ability to overcome the negative situations and feelings of despair, fear and doubt that accompany disasters. This is where you find out how. Whatever the circumstances, – whether you feel powerless over your finances, health, bad habits, physical destruction, or relationships – you do have the power to turn your thoughts in a positive direction and rebuild your life.

REBUILDING YOUR LIFE…is hosted by two time Emmy nominated producer and author Susan Sherayko. She knows the subject intimately – inside and out. She’s been through this. Susan used these principles to get past the after effects of her disaster. A LifeSuccess consultant and Power Habits coach, her book Rainbows Over Ruins describes how she applied success principles, the creative thought process and positive self-talk in her own life to overcome the after effects of a landslide.

REBUILDING YOUR LIFE… That’s what this series is all about. Whatever your circumstances, you too can experience health, financial security and a sense of well-being once again. You can rebuild and move on to something even better. You can overcome the physical problems, fears and grieving, the mental challenges and negative thought habits that hold you prisoner.

Are you ready to move from disaster to prosperity? The time to start is now, right where you are. Tune in – and let’s start getting you back on your feet right now – not in the distant future.

Produced by Susan Sherayko, the REBUILDING YOUR LIFE: MOVING FROM DISASTER TO PROSPERITY podcast is available iTunes at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/rebuilding-your-life-moving/id975055547 as well as Stitcher http://www.stitcher.com/s?fid=62871&refid=stpr

So there you have it. That’s what I’ve been developing for the past couple months during the 30 Day Podcast Challenge.

I now invite you to tune in and listen to the first podcasts in the series, like it, follow it or subscribe to the RSS feed. I would greatly appreciate it if you would become one of the first ambassadors to get the word out about the series, especially if you know anyone who is going through challenging times.

May you and yours discover the miracle of positive self-talk as part of your journey – whether you want to put a disaster behind you or embrace a powerful path to prosperity.

I’ll be traveling with you,

Susan

I’m Flying

February 15, 2015 By ssherayko Leave a Comment

Look at me, way up high…., here am I, I’m flying!

This spontaneous, enthusiastic Peter Pan outburst is the result of completing my first podcast. It took a bit of work to get the intro and outro outsourced, the podcast written and recorded and then stitched together on a hosting platform. Not being an editor (video or audio), it was a bit challenging to feel my way through the steps even with a written guide before me. However, I did it!!!

Then, I took my next step in the challenge to post the finished podcast on the distribution channel. It was much easier. And after a few days that felt extremely long – well, I guess they were, I stayed in the office until 8:00pm a couple nights to get this done – I posted the podcast into our 30-Day Challenge Facebook group. It felt so good to receive the loving, supportive comments from group members.

As I made that post, I had this curious sense of flying! It was as if I had been taxiing around the runway for some time and then, in the blink of an eye, I’m airborne. I am now “Successfully Mid-Air” – with a nod to Sandra Daly. That is the title of her latest book. It is the experience of being in the gap. Where you have been is behind you and you are moving toward where you want to be, but your feet don’t touch the ground. I have to ask myself, do I have my coordinates? Do I know where I’m going? Do I have the journey in mind? Who is flying with me? What am I feeling as I anticipate all of this?

Free. On track. On purpose. Bridging the gap and it is going to be fun to travel. This feels so good. This feels exactly like what I could do forever! It is exhilarating and liberating to get off the runway, lifting off to experience my dreams in process. Whatever happens, wherever this takes me, I can do this. I am so grateful for where I am right now.

I’m looking forward to sharing the first episode with everyone, but the Challenge is teaching us more than just how to make a podcast. It is also talking about how to market and promote, line up guests and monetize podcasts. The recommendation is to wait until we have three full podcasts before submitting to iTunes and Stitcher, the two major podcast sources.

I’ve already lined up the next two guests – Noah St. John (author, Afformations) and Sandra Daly (author, Pop Your Paradigms and Successfully Mid-Air). My sense of anticipation is high. We’ve been exchanging thoughts for content and I’ve been doing my due diligence to read their materials to draw upon for the conversations. This is fun!

If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines, unsure if you want to do a podcast, I suggest that you take this challenge for yourself. I’m experiencing such a sense of accomplishment working through it step by step. It’s the 30-Day Podcast Challenge – http://goo.gl/CD3jfA.

I’m off now to celebrate. It’s Valentine’s Day and Peter and I are going off on an adventure. I hope you are feeling safe to fly today.

To Your Success,

Susan

  • “What I appreciate about you is your sincere and great generosity of spirit. You have an almost unlimited tolerance for the foibles of others and manage to find humor in some of the most trying circumstances. I can always count on you to give me an honest, balanced assessment of whatever is happening privately or globally. You never stagnate. You’re always seeking ways to make your life better and more meaningful. That is inspirational to me.”

    Susan Scudder
    Actress, Casting Director
  • “Susan uses her whole brain when crafting solutions. She knows how to visualize the result she wants and then build the structure to support the dream. She constantly prods people who are stuck in one way of seeing something into realizing new paths to take up the mountains of success. Now she is willing to share her unique approach to creating success systems with people who are ready to go the next level in their business and personal lives. I would sign up for her seminars and coaching program quickly because once the word gets out the waiting list is going to be long. I can’t think of anyone else I would trust more with creating the logistics for launching a new endeavor. Susan knows how to create successful enterprises and she is willing to coach you to your next success.”

    Kate Maxwell
    Hypnotist, Spiritual Life Coach
  • “Calm, Serenity, Wisdom, Patience, Empathy. These are the characteristics that I think of, when I think of you. Throughout our relationship, you have always “shared only and freely” with me. You have never been judgmental (of anyone really) or unkind with words. Your ability to take in all the information surrounding a situation, process it in a kind, loving and logical way and then interpret the information back in such a way that I feel that I too can learn and grow from the experience, whether it was mine or not. Susan, I believe that you are a conduit, maybe not the right word…a channel…o.k. I laymen’s terms, you are the glue that holds us all together. If I were ever in a crisis…I’d want you to be with me more than anyone I know.”

    Toni Casala
    Owner, Children in Film
  • “When the Producers Guild of America merged with the American Producers of America, limited benefits were available for a fast growing membership. Susan Sherayko stepped in and created the most successful enrichment programs possible for the PGA. She became the Chairperson of the Seminar programs and was able to offer the membership an opportunity to learn the essentials of how to be a better producer of TV, Motion Pictures and Syndication for many leaders and icons in our industry. The subject matter was vast as each seminar attempted to instruct the producers in a vast array of subjects. Susan produced or was responsible for the vision of this stellar committee. Turnout of attendees for these seminars was consistently gratifying in both in numbers and approvals. The legacy of Susan’s organizational skills and execution is exemplified by the continuing programs being offered today for the PGA membership…now over 4000 members strong. Thanks, Susan, I personally enjoyed attending your seminars and afterwards felt more confident and wiser. ”

Executive Producer, “The Jeffersons”, Governor, Academy of Television Arts and Sciences
