“The standard of success in life is not the money or the stuff – the standard of success is absolutely the amount of joy you feel.” – Abraham
I’m thinking about joy this week. After weeks of contemplating the process of creating success, I experience a certain relief when letting go of visualization for a bit and allowing joy to fill me. I am fortunate. I spend a few days at Serra Retreat in Malibu walking among the various gardens and labyrinth with friends, looking out over the cliffs toward the ocean, each of us stretching to catch a glimpse of the wild parrots as they fly among the trees below. For a moment, the air is filled with their calls before silence returns to the landscape. In the silence, all need falls away. I am reminded of my anonymous angel. “Energy is. Energy will. Do the work. Be of service.” Other phrases fill my thoughts. “Release the past as well as the compulsion to know and control the outcome. ” Let me be in the moment. Right now. Listening for guidance until it is time to return to the mundane. I am so grateful for this time here.
